Hisham Okasha joined NBE in 2008 as Deputy Chairman and was appointed as Chairman of NBE in 2013. During his time at NBE, Mr. Okasha oversaw the successful reform and restructure of the bank and was instrumental in increasing NBE’s market share to 30% and its progress to become the country’s largest SME lender.
Prior to his role at NBE, Mr. Okasha headed off-site supervision at the Central Bank of Egypt after 15 years in the private commercial banking sector. Mr. Okasha is a Board Member at the Egyptian Banking Federation and a number of other financial subsidiaries of the Bank in Europe and Africa.
Mr. Okasha has an Economics and Computer Science degree and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the American University in Cairo. He also has a diploma from the Harvard Institute for International Development.

Karim Saada has over 30 years of experience in finance and investment, specifically in private equity, financial management, corporate lending, and remedial asset management. Saada worked as Executive Partner & Country Head-Egypt of Amwal Al Khaleej Commercial Investment Company for 14 years.
Prior to joining Amwal, Mr. Saada was with Gulf Arab Investment Company based in Egypt, where he held the position first of Chief Investment Officer then General Manager. He has 10 years of banking experience in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, largely in corporate banking, corporate finance, and restructure/recovery of remedial accounts, having worked with EAB and United Saudi Bank.
Mr. Saada is a CFA Charter holder and member of the CFA Institute. He has a diploma in investment and appraisals management from Harvard University. He holds an MSc in Finance Strathclyde University-UK, and a BA in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.

Ahmed Seddik is an executive with 35+ years of broad & progressive experience in General Management and CFO positions in high profile multi-nationals including Farm Frites, Mars Inc., PepsiCo., P&G and Qalaa Holdings. The operational management experience is complemented with 15+ years of experience in Board Memberships, and Entrepreneurial ventures such as: National Bank of Egypt, Al Ahly Capital, Carina, Stars Sports, JPadel Sports Co, Alamar Foods, Nile Shoes Co. “ Coochi”, Mountain View and AUC Business School Advisory Board. He demonstrated leadership skills and turnaround achievements with a proven track record of strong execution management, successful product development, new venture start-ups as well as divestitures. He consistently maintained a diligent eye on growth in productivity, bottom-line profitability and talent development.

Wael Abu Ali is NBE's Chief Financial Officer and has held several positions at the bank since joining in 2008. He has 23 years of experience in the fields of auditing, financial consultancy and banking. He started his career with Arthur Andersen Egypt in 1993 for three years and later joined E&Y and PwC offices as Senior Manager in the UAE and Egypt covering assignments across the Middle East and GCC. He joined Barclays Bank as Financial Controller in 2005 before moving to Ahli United Bank where he served as CFO.

Ahmed Al Said is NBE's Chief Executive Officer for Investments, overlooking the bank's portfolio of 148 companies and real assets exceeding USD 2.5 billion in value. Prior to joining NBE, the largest commercial bank in Egypt, Mr. El Said spent more than 24 years in Investment and Commercial Banks, established his own PE fund and Finance Leasing Company and later exited achieving outstanding returns.
Mr. Al Said has served as a Board Member in number of companies including Nile Holding Company for Development & Investment, Qena Cement, Kanzy Holding, Al Tawfeek Company for Financial Leasing (AT Lease) Al Ahly Tamkeen, Al Ahly Momkn, Al Ahly Medical Company, and Al Ahly Capital.
Mr. El Said has conducted various training courses in professional institutions as well as academic (post graduate) courses. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Cairo University and an MBA degree from the University of Maryland, USA.

Ramy el Sharaawy is the General Manager of African Cooperation Sector at CBE with over than 15 years of experience at the CBE, Mr. Sharaawy has assumed several roles from managing the Risk of Foreign Reserves, managing External Portfolio Managers, to Banking Sector Reform and finally establishing the first Egyptian Export Credit Agency and co-heading the African Cooperation Sector.
Prior to that Mr. Sharaawy has accumulated over 10 years of experience through a number of banking roles; Credit Risk Officer for the local subsidiary of Société Générale Bank, Private Banker for Deutsche Bank and an Equity Analyst during the privatization program. Mr. Sharaawy has also had the chance to work for PWC Advisory Business in Sydney, Australia where he was in charge of evaluating the option pricing model of Sydney Stock Exchange among other projects.

Ahmed el Sersi is the Head of Debt and Structured Finance at NBE, he joined the bank in 2010, where he worked across various sectors and managed his team to close numerous landmark transactions. He has more than 24 years of working experience in syndicated loans, corporate credit, and non-performing loans. Prior to his role at NBE, Mr. El Sersi worked at Bank Audi, heading five sectors and succeeded to close the bank’s first syndication transaction.

Kareem Aboulnaga has over 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Prior to his role as Chief Investment Officer at ACH, he served as Investment

His years of experience also saw him occupy positions at several reputable investment banks in Egypt and abroad, including Morgan Stanley affiliate HC Securities and Investments in Cairo, and HSBC Investment Bank in London, where he was part of the European M&A team.

She also undertook a six-month industrial placement post at GC Group Capital, a wall street based private wealth management company in New York.

Yasmine Abouhussein is a Senior Investment Associate at AHC. Prior to ACH, Ms. Abouhussein spent two years in the banking sector as a Fixed Income Trader at the money market desk of the Arab Bank dealing room. Wael Mohamed has 23 years of experience in information technology, specifically in networking infrastructure design and implementation, administration, and security. Mr. Mohamed joined Al Ahly Capital Holding in September 2009 as IT Manager working and responsible for the IT Department. Dalia Elbaz is the Chairman of Al Ahly Payments and she was elected to the Board of Directors effective August 2020.
Ms. Elbaz holds the position of Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Egypt (NBE) since September 2017 after holding the position of Chief Operations Officer in December 2015. With more than 25 years of experience in the area of risk and corporate banking, Elbaz joined the National Bank of Egypt in December 2008 – Head of Operational Risk- as part of the team that contributed to the development of the Bank's business by activating the role of the Operational Risk Group, spreading the culture of its business and establishing the business continuity plans and sites.
Being appointed as Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Egypt since September 2017, Ms. Elbaz is responsible for Risk, Banking Operations, Information Technology, Internal Control, Project Management, Business Process Optimization, Debt Recovery and Credit Administration and Follow up. She is a member of the Executive Committee since 2016. She supervised the deployment of the new core banking system in addition to the upgrade and centralization of the banking operations adopted by NBE within the framework of an integrated strategy for the information technology of the bank and obtaining multiple certificates to protect the data of its customers.

Ahmed Hamdy is the Chief Business Officer in Al Ahly Tamkeen, he has more than 17 years of experience in microfinance industry. Mr. Hamdy started his journey in the microfinance industry as an associate accountant in Redic foundation then promoted to deputy director of the group lending unit. Mr. Ahmed joined one of the biggest microfinance institutions in Egypt (Tanmeyah). Mr. Hamdy spent more than 10 years at Tanmeyah micro enterprise services. During his working years at Tanmeyah, he held the position of Product General Manager where he led the expansion process for Tanmeyah and succeeded to maximize its portfolio exceeding 2 Billon EGB with more than 270 branches all over Egypt

Mr. Farouk established Momkn platform & led Momkn to be one of top aggregators in Egypt.
Mr. Farouk graduated from the Faculty of Commerce in Ain Shams University and holds Project Management Diploma.

Khaled Shelbaya currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Al Ahly Momkn for E-Payment where he is responsible for, business planning, tax administration, financial management and performance management, the extent of achieving the objectives of the company and its future plan, Mr. Shelbaya has 17 years of experience in financial management where 9 in fintech played vital role in Fawry IPO 2018, setting treasury strategy and management, financial control, planning.
Mr. Shelbaya holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Helwan University in 2004, and CMA from the institute of management accounts New Jersey, United States in Aug 2011.
